This workshop will be offered in two sections, one for kids ages 8-11 (3rd-5th grade, and another for kids ages 11-15 (6th-8th grade).  Through group discussions and creative projects participants will be encouraged to think for themselves and dialogue with others in order to gain a deeper and more meaningful understanding of a broad range of complex issues, ideas, and phenomena.  Each week the class will explore a different topic:

January 22: Rules
January 29: Art
February 5: Technology
February 12: Nature
No class February 19
February 26: Friendship
March 5: Perception
No class March 12
March 19: Power
March 26: Fact vs. Fiction

WHO Session 1 is for kids 8-11; Session 2 is for kids 11-15

WHEN This workshop meets Mondays,  8 sessions from 1/22 – 3/26 (skips 2/19 and 3/12). Session 1 runs from 3:30-4:30p.m.; Session 2 from 4:45-5:45p.m.

Tuition We are offering this workshop on a ‘pay what you can’ basis so that no child is prevent from enrolling for financial reasons. (Full tuition is $200)
